Today for reading we were talking about visualizing and questioning. We had to get a book and find three/two scenes in the book, and visualize it on a google drawing. Today I learned by listening to the instructions, by working hard and by focusing on my work.

Movie Narrative

Today for writing we had to get into groups of three, and we had to make a story/narrative for the Manaiakalani Movie. Today I learned by working with my group.

What is Media

LI: to learn what media is
Today for cyber smart we talked about media,we also had to get into three/two to  .we had to figure out what was media. Media apps, bill boards or any other thing that tells people things so people can get information and so we can communicate. Media is also connecting with each other. Today I learned by going onto the google slide and working with my group.

Kiwi Sport

LI: to learn how swim
Today for kiwi sport we did swimming lesson's. We learnt how to kick facing up (swimming on our back's), stepping into the water, slide into the water and safe entry. The year five's got split up into three groups so the people who were teaching us know's our level. They knew what our level was because they can see how good we could freestyle. I was a level three because I already knew how to freestyle. If you don't know how to freestyle you are level one, if you splash water at people and can't keep up that means you are a level two and if you don't splash and can keep up you are a level three. Today I learned by listening to the instructions and by trying my best.

Kiwi Can

LI: to show resilience.
Today for first term three kiwi can session the new theme and topic was setting goals and showing resilience. Today for kiwi can we played two games, the first game was the energizer and the last game was the activity. For the first game we had to order each other by age, birth month and height. The activity was goal set. There were three cones, for each cone they have a set of points, we had to throw a hoola hoop on a cone so we could get the points. One cone is worth fifty points, an other cone was worth one hundred points and the furthest cone was worth one hundred and fifty plus you can take one hundred points off of the other team. There were also two teams. Today I learned by listening to the instructions, by working together with my team and by focusing on the game.

Multiplying fractions

LI-Find fractions of whole number amounts using multiplication and division.
Today I learned to make an animation on how to multiply a fraction. If you want to learn how to multiply a fraction look at the animation that I made. Today I learned by working hard and by being focused on my work. I also learned by using google slides.

Duffy Theatre

LI: Don't bully.
On the first day of term three the school had to go to the hall to see a show. The show was about bullying. We watched the show so we don't make what the character in the did. The show also had that if you read a book you get really relaxed and its good for when you are going to go to sleep. After the show we asked some questions about the actors. After the questions everyone went back the their class's. I learned by watching this show.

LS1 Quiz Show

LI: to learn about whats living
Today I learned to do the quiz. If you want to know what happened at the quiz I can tell you. There were three rounds, all of the groups had to do each three things. All of the groups had to sculpt, draw and answer. In the first round we had to draw. In the second round we had to sculpt and in the third and final round we had to answer the questions. I learned by working with my group.

Today I learned to go on Aden's kiwi can blog post and make a smart comment on it. I learned by commenting on Aden's kiwi can blog post.

Man and sea quiz

Today I learned to make a quiz about man and the sea. The link to the quiz is this Kahoot. You can play it but before you play it you have to read the text so you know what the answers are. Today I learned by listening to the instructions, working hard and by being focused on my work.

Narrative dialogue

LI: to write a narrative with dialogue
Today I learned about dialogue's. Dialogue is two people talking. I also learned to watch a video about a book but without words. I had to write a story (Narrative) with words. I had to use the information from the video so I know what to write. The link the video is here. Today I learned by focusing on my work.

ASB Get wise

LI: to save money
Today a member of ASB came to LS1, his name was Jayden. Jayden taught us how to save money and how to set our goals. My goal is to get a Lamborghini. Jayden also told us an acronym. The acronym was CASH. CASH stands for Clear: clear goals, Action: Take action to get money, Save: Save or spend money, How long: How long until you are going to get the thing you want. Today I learned by listening to Jaydens steps and tips.

Matariki

LI: to learn something new about Matariki.
Today I learned to work collaborative with my group. Some of LS1 and some of LS2 joined up to make groups. We had to write as much information as we could to make people understand what Matariki is all about. Matariki is about sharing each others knowledge and gathering together. Today I learned by working collaboratively with my group.

Today I learned to make a graph and answer the questions with my buddy Xavier. I liked this session because it involved chocolate, we first started by testing how much we new about fractions, after that we got chocolate by using m&m's, after the answering we got to eat the m&m's. We then had to answer this document. I learned by working with my buddy.
