LI: to research about the people who have changed the world.
For the first task of the fourth day of the second week of the SLJ I learnt that back then in New Zealand history the natives used Whakatauki, whakatauki are basically Maori metaphors. The task I had to do was that I had to pick a Whakatauki that had meaning to me and make a poster about it, the whakatauki that had meaning to me was "Do you know where I'm from?".
My Whakatau is BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE. Keep blogging Lukah and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
ReplyDeleteHello Lukah! This is a really nice poster and Whakatauki. This proves that even the smallest of words can mean a lot. I enjoyed looking at all the different Whakatauki on the website, and choosing the one that spoke most to me. Do you know what yours is in Maori? Well done!
ReplyDeleteHi Lukah!,
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed reading about the Whakatauki you have chosen and why it has a meaning to you. It looks like you have been putting a lot of effort into these activities. I have been wondering what your Whakatauki is in Maori. Do you know what it is?
Well Done!
Hi Lukah!
ReplyDeleteI liked the Whakatauki you chose. I think that in the DLO you could put the main part (Whakatauki) the thing everyone wants to see. Also remember to attribute your images.
Blog you later!
