Rugby Passport

LI: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
For this activity we have been chosen to play for the All Blacks, but we have to have a passport to go to Japan. So we had to fill out questions to get ourselves a passport to Japan. We also had to add a photo of ourselves because to go to Japan we need to get facial recognition. The passport if fake and I am not really going to Japan, for the phone number, it is a fake phone number so please don't call it.

Rugby Events | Rugby World Cup Activities

LI: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
For this activity we had to do one of the literacy activities, the one that my group did was called rugby events, we had to supply three famous rugby events with an image to show it, we also had to write what the date was when the event happened, what happened at the event and what memories does the person remember from the event. The events that we chose were the Lions vs the All Blacks, Tonga vs England and the RWC. I learned by choosing three rugby events.

World Time | Rugby World Cup Activity

LI: to learn about the Rugby World Cup.
Instead of doing maths, writing, reading and inquiry like every other week, we are doing a slide show with different activities that are  based around the rugby world cup.We had to do these activities in groups. The first activity that my group did was called World Time.

For this activity we had to figure out the time it would be when the RWC finals are in different countries around the world, we had to compare the times to japans time. The countries times that we had to figure out were New Zealand, USA, Canada, Japan, Fiji, Australia, France and South Africa. We had to add if it was pm or am too, am means ante meridian and pm means post meridian, basically am means before midday and pm means after midday.
