For kiwi can this week we played two games and our topic this week it was give it a go, that means participating in something. For one of the games we played a game where we got into pairs and try to compete to get a cone, we get the cone when a certain word is said, if you don't get the cone you have to do a push up. The other game we played was called 1 v 1, we had to compete agaist another person to do different things. At the end we played GKQ boys v girls.

Kiwi Can
LI: to respect others.
This week for kiwi can we talked about how we could respect each other for their differences, for an example we talked about how we could respect peoples diets. For the energizer for kiwi can this week we had to get a partner and one partner would do something and the other would copy the other, they then would switch roles. The next game was passing the ball around and then shooting it into the hoop.

LI: To respect others for their differences.
For kiwi can this week we learnt how everyone has their own beliefs/ideas/customs that we should respect. We had to learn how to hold our tongue (think about what you want to say before you say it). We also learnt about cultures, religions, and customs from different countries like the Philippines and other countries. We played a game called "Spot the difference". In this game we had to get into pairs and one person would change an aspect of their appearance and the other person had to figure out what they've changed, and then we would swap roles.

LI: to learn how our selves and others.
For our second session for kiwi can we talked about how we can respect a persons unique personality. For the energizer we played a game called "Verses", basically we chose chose between two things and we had to explain why the thing we chose was the best.
For the activity game we played was called "Might vs Wisdom" we got split up into two groups and one group was going to be might and one was going to be wisdom, the wisdom group had to solve some word riddles and the might group had to do three activities.
We played another game called "Bang", we had to get into a circle and a person has to call out the others in the circle. The person the person calls out has to duck down and the people next to the person that ducked down has to shoot each other with their hands, the first person to say bang when they shoot beats the other person and the other person sits down. I learned by talking about how we could respect others.

Kiwi Can
LI: to be respectful to our environment, each other and for our school.
This week for kiwi can the new topic is respect, and the theme is respect for our school. We were also introduced to two new kiwi can staff, their names were Paige.
We played two games, we first play the energizer which was called "no rules vs rules". For the first round we did no rules, (we also had to tag each other) so we could still play if we got tagged, we could do anything. For the second round we played tag with rules, two people were chosen to have a noodle, the two people who had the noodles have to tag everyone until they are all tagged, the people who were tagged had to go to the other side of the room.
For the activity we played a role play game, so we got into four groups and two groups did a good approach for the role play and the other two groups did a bad approach for the role play. This week for kiwi can I learned by playing the games.

LI:To learn how to use the values on other's.
I learned to go to kiwi can and learn the values. I learned "empathy" and this is what it means, it means putting you in someone ell's place and I learned whats respect, that means listening to people while they are talking. We also played two game's and those were "sock tag" and "stinky feet", I now what you are thinking, just GROSS!

LI:To learn about respect.
I learned about respect and I also learned how to play two games, the first game is like one team has the ball and when they got the ball you have to touch the ground with the ball then pass it to someone, this will go on until one team touches the ground with the ball ten times, and who ever's team does that well that team wins. My team won twice. Now here is the second game and this one is called "tangled knots". So there are two teams and those two teams have to get in a circle. When you're team is in a circle you have to hold someones hand not next to you. Then when you've done that you just have to untangle the knot by working together. My team never got out of the knot because it hurt a LOT! I learned that respect is listening to someone or being nice to a person, a place and the environment, other things as well.I learned by listening to the instructions and by using respect. I learned by going to kiwi can and playing the games that they have planed.
