Synthisis, QAR, Flipgrid | Reading
LI: to identify the main ideas in a text.
Like last week we did the QAR, the synthesis and the flipgrid video, but we had a new text tha we had to use for the QAR, the synthesis and the flip grid video.
The text was about animal testing, the text was against animal testing because animal testing injure and may even kill the animals, animals are being burned, crippled, poisoned just for animal testing. I learned by doing the QAR, synthesis and the flip grid video.

Maths Art Preperation Measurments
LI: to measure lengths and calculate area and perimeter.
We are making art for maths this week, but before we make the art we have to figure out what space we are using and our preparation for our art. For the art I chose to do 3D shape shading, we had to figure out the width and the height of the space that we were using, we also had to figure out what was the perimeter and the area of our space.
The amount of space that I could use was 28.5cm in width, 33cm in height, the perimeter is 123cm and the area was 940.5 cm.

Advertising 2.0
LI: to learn about persuasive tools in advertising.
Like last week we did a google slide about advertising, in the slide we talked about spokespersons and celebrity endorsements.
We also had to give our point of view on what we thought about how the advertisements were made, we also got an example on an advertisement and that was an uber eats ad.
We then had to find examples of slogans that went under food, technology, cloths and others. After that we watched a video on how food products are staged for advertisements.
We then made three made up slogans about our school. I learned by going onto the slide with my group and doing each slide.

Screw | Inquiry
LI: to learn about simple machines.
A a simple machine that we are learning about is an Archimedes Screw, an Archimedes screw is used to lift water from one point to a higher point. We went on a google drawing and we had to answer questions based on the screw. We also got to make out own Archimedes screw and test it out.I learned by testing the Archimedes screw and by doing the google drawing.

Kiwi Can
LI: to learn how to be resilient.
The main thing that we talked about at kiwi can was how we could get over challenges and what type of examples of challenges we have in school.
The energizer that we played today was a game where we all got into a circle, and we all had to follow certain types of commands, the commands were: look up, look down, turn around, touch the ground, jump in and jump out. If we fail one of the commands we are out of the competition and we have to sit down inside the circle.
The activity that we played was a game were we had to solve a puzzle, the puzzle had six pieces, if each of the pieces were put in the right placement it would made a plus sign. If you want to try the puzzle you can try by looking at the photo below.
