LI: To show how an organism does each characteristics that all living things do.
Today I learned in my group to make a video about how an organism does the seven characteristics of life (MRS GREN). MRS GREN stands for movement, respiration, sensitivity, growth, reproduction, excretion and nutrition. My group and me made a script so we can talk off of, and we made a slide show with videos and pictures so when we record people will have a brief image on what it really looks like. Today I learned by working as a team.

LI: to write a descriptive scene.
Today I learned to write a show and tell just using the hints and information from the image that I've got. The image that I had to show and tell was a girl and her dad walking along the beach. . Today I learned by listening to the instructions, by working hard and by being focused on my work.

Inferring
LI: to infer information from a text.
Today I read a text called man and the sea. This text was a about a boy who was growing older, since that he was growing older we got a tattoo. Since that his dad died he had to get a job to help the family so they could pay their rents and their bills. I also had to write my inferences on a google doc and I had to write the hints that I used. I also had to make a comic strip/story board about the text. Today I learned by using my prior knowledge from the past.

Kiwi Can
LI: To learn what accountability and consequence means.
Today I learned about accountability and consequences. Today we also played two games. Those two games were called blind ball (this is not the name, I forgot the actual name). The other game was called cone (this isn't the real name). How to play cone is pretty easy, you have a partner that the opposite side of you, one person has to pick a word and she has to tell a little story, when the word comes around you have to grab the cone before your partner does. How to play blind ball is a bit harder that the last game. You have to have four groups with an equal amount of people in each group. One person in your group has to be blind folded and one person has to guide the person into getting a ball and putting into there hoop, whoever has the most balls in their hoop that team wins.

Maori
LI: to learn something new about the Maori culture.
Today I learned to do a string game. The string game doesn't really have any rules you just have to make things with your string. The Maori name for the string game is Whai and the actual english name is cats cradle. I got to learn how to make lots of things like a parachute and a trap. The string game was kind of difficult because when ever I tried to do the trap it would always unravel. I learned by listening to Fire Odi.
