Maori

LI: to learn more about the Maori culture.
This week for Maori we made a google document or a google slide about Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, in Maori and the weathers of those days.

We also had to search Mt Everest and Mt Wanaka. Also if you don't know about Mt Everest, it is the tallest mounting on earth, the first people to climb up it, were Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.

This week I learned by listening to the instructions, by  working hard and by being focused on my google slides. Check out the days in the google slide below.

Kiwi Can

LI: to learn the values and use them.
For this week for kiwi can we played two games and we talked about why we don't follow the rules. For the energizer we played center ball.

How to play center ball is really easy, all you need to do is get a group of people and tell them to form a number, each person is going to be numbered from one to four. There is going to be ball in that circle, one person is going to call out a number and if your number is called out you have to run around the circle until you get to your spot, after that its ever person for themselves, once you are at your spot grab the ball as quickly as you can.

We then talked about why we don't follow the rules, we said that the rules might be boring or you can't control your emotions. After the talk we played a game called bus stop, how you play bus stop is easier then the last game, all you have to do is get into four groups, all groups must have an equal amount of people in them. Each group is going to have a paper, on the paper there will be five topics, one person is going to say a letter, and your group has to find something that starts with that letter and connected with the topics you are doing.

This week for kiwi can I learned by listening to what people said when we talked about why we don't follow the rules. I also learned by going to kiwi can.

For my group we also talked about the structure of a paragraph, the structure of a paragraph is T.E.E. T.E.E stands for topic, explanation and ending. We then had to fix up and link paragraphs together.
