Poems | Sound

LI: to identify purposes of a poem.
For inquiry this week we switched groups, so now instead of Hauora we are doing poems. For the task this week we had to learn about rhymes and rhythm. We also had to highlight the sounds of the rhyming words. We also had to highlight witch kind of rhyme it was. The options of rhyming were end rhymes, alliteration, assonance and consonance. End rhymes are rhyming words at the end of a line, alliteration is a repeated sound in a word, assonance is sound of a voul and consonance is a sound of a consonant. I learned by highlighting the sounds of the rhyming words.
