Wise Words

LI: to research about the people who have changed the world.
For the last task of the fourth day of the second week of the SLJ I learnt Apirana Ngata and Dame Whina Cooper had some really wise words to say, for this task I had to choose one of my role models to say some wise words, I chose my mum and a wise phrase that she uses a lot is "Seek the treasure you value most dearly: if you bow our head let it be to a lofty mountain".

  2. Hi Lukah!,
What a great quote your mum has given. I have enjoyed reading your mum's words of wisdom and your explanation about what you did for this activity. Will you follow your mum's words of wisdom, in the future?

    Great Work!

  4. Ahiahi Mārie Lukah,

My name is Kueni and I am one of the blog commenters for the summer learning journey. I am from the ako hiko cluster and thought i'd pop over to your blog this afternoon.

Thank you so much for sharing about someone who is a role model to you and some “wise words” that they have told you in your life. I like that you have chosen your mum for this activity, that must’ve been so special for you to hear those words from your mum.

These are truly wise words, I had to read this over a few times so I could make an understanding of it for myself. To me, this is about going after your dreams and things that are important to you. What does this quote mean to you?

Have a lovely weekend Lukah :)

    Ngā Mihi,
    Kueni
