LI: To experiment with colors.
This morning we tried one of this year’s Kick Start Summer Learning Journey activities. The purpose of this task was to experiment with colours by mixing colours from the original palette with pop colours. This allowed us to recolours famous painting or images of landmarks around the world. I added blue in the sky to give it a kind of daytime mood.

ReplyDeleteI really like your recreation of the painting, I like how you added the blue sky to make it into a bright day, and the changed colours of the boats which looks pretty good. I've also done this activity, I've done the waves too but I tried to change the shades of the original colours. Maybe next time make you blurb bigger in size and words, try to show which one is the original and recreation. Have you done any other art, if you have which ones?

ReplyDeleteThe Great wave of Kanagawa is a really hard painting to get right and I thing you used the colours really well to make it your own. As you said It give a daytime and joyful mood unlike the original which had a stormy and dark mood. What is your favorite painting.
