Unit of measurement for length

I learned to measure with the place value house and I learned that Cape to Bluff is 1316 km.I learned that when you move the number to the left the number get’s bigger and when you move it to the right the number get’s shorter.

I learned by being focused on my work and following the instructions.I learned by moving the number’s to the left and putting the answer's in the template.

My LI is to use my predicting

I learned to predict and question.I learned that predicting means having a guess at what you think the answer is.I learned to look at the picture and looking at the pages to find what the answer is.

I learned by working in my group and by focusing on my work.I learned by reading the questioning poster and then writing it in my own words. We used different stories and practiced with my group. We learnt to find answers in different place, to help when we need to answer questions.

I learned to put my rubbish in the right bin and don't pollute the rubbish and I’ll always make sure that

I learned it by playing the two waste sorting games that were called garbage dreams and schoolyard recycling.

what is waste

What is waste?

Waste are things we put in the bin like pens,pencils, clothes and banana peels.Humans could waste anything at anytime.Some people might care for our environment and reduce reuse and recycle

Source of waste?

Municipal source waste could be from shops,Homes,school and from public. ( Medical clinic source of waste ( the waste could be like gloves,tubes,Safety suit and wrappers

Kind of waste?

Cans,Chip packets, lollie bag,paper,

Broken glass,Banana peel, pump bottle,

plastic bags,apple cores,paper,

Water bottles,

Toilet paper.

My learning intention is to identify the parts of the narrative.

I learned that being greedy is bad having lot’s of money doesn't matter.

I learned that being greedy is bad and this story showed me not to be greedy and to not do bad things.

What is waste?

To learn the amount waste we produce.

I learned that to always put our rubbish in the bin and and there was 800 solid waste in the school.I learned that we have lots of different types of rubbish in PBS, and it could go other places.

I learned it by working in my group and picking up the rubbish that was in the middle of the hall.

Problem?the farmer wanted to be rich and he got greedy.

Events!One day a farmer found a yellow egg he was about to throw in away but when he took it inside

He realised that it was made out of gold!!!

The next day the farmer sold the egg and he got a lot     

Of money so kept on selling the eggs and he got richer and richer and richer    until he got 100 dollars.

The next day the man sold hundreds of eggs        

 and he got richer and richer and richer until he got greedy.

Then the next day the man grew greedy and rich but then he wanted more and more and more gold.

Resolution the man  wanted to get all the gold so one morning the farmer sneaked up to the goose and with his knife he killed the goose.

Ending But when the farmer cut the goose open but he was disappointed that there was no gold and then grew poor and poor and poor.

Problem?baron von spanner comes back and wants to do a duel and whoever loses they can never invent again.

Events!Emma Just made a new invention she showed

Grandpa Sid but he barely even saw it he’s just

Got his mind on the last duel.

But then they notice something was punching the door so hard   

       that it broke the door down and then baron von spanner came back for revenge and he wanted duel

again.

Grandpa Sid was losing so Emma went outside and then she got an idea then she rushed grandpa Sid

and told him.

Resolution Emma and grandpa Sid spread buttons around the town baron von spanner had to press the right button and he would win.

Ending baron von spanner press a button and……NOTHING he got so mad that it looked liked there was smoke coming out of his ear’s and then he went out into the distance and never came back.

Resolution William was in the woods taking a walk then he came across a old man he looked hungry and cold so he gave a coat and some food then the old man pulled out a stone and gave it to him
