My Pepeha

LI: to make my pepeha.
This week for a summer learning journey task I had to make my pepeha, to do this I used a site called pepeha.com and a template to help me make my pepeha. For the pepeha we had the choice of doing it in any language we wanted to.

  1. Kia Ora Lukah,

I'm Daniel from the Summer Learning Journey blog commenter team and I'm excited to start commenting on your blog posts this week and over the summer.

It’s really cool to see your pepeha and a great way to learn more about you and your roots. I hope you carry on exploring your roots and ask your family members to tell you more about it.

Here is my Pepeha so I can also introduce myself.

Ko Baty, Ko Pakeha nga hapu
Baty is my family and I am Pakeha
Ko Ingarihi, Ko Nowei nga iwi
My ancestors are english and scandinavian in origin

    Kei Papakura taku kainga
    And Papakura is my home

I’m really looking forward to seeing more amazing work from you this week and throughout the holidays. Remember that week 1 of the SLJ program starts on the 16th of December to start earning those points.

    Daniel
