LI: to research about people who changed the world.
For task three of day four of the summer learning journey we had to read about how Valerie Adams was from Tonga, we then had to make a brochure about Tonga or somewhere that is important. I made my brochure about England because my grandfather was from there.
Hi Lukah!,
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great brochure you have created. Reading your brochure about England was enjoyable. I have now learnt new information about England that I didn't know before. The image of England intrigues me to travel there. Have you ever been to England before? I haven't, but I hope to go there one day.
Keep It Up!
Kia Ora Lukah,
ReplyDeleteWow! you have been very busy completing Summer Learning Journey activities, keep up the awesome mahi! You have done a good job creating a DLO about where to visit in England. I had no idea that London had more than twice the population as our whole country! That’s a lot of people in a small space. If I got the chance to visit England, I think I would want to visit Buckingham Palace as well. If you got the chance to visit England who would you take with you ? I would take my dad as he knows so much about history and it would be like having my own tour guide with me.
Where did you get the great photo from? It would be a good idea to attribute where you got this image from, so whoever owns the photo gets credit. Check out our quick tutorial about how to correctly attribute photos here: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/cybersmart.
As it is the holiday period many of the Summer Learning Journey team are currently away from work and are spending some time with their friends and family. This means that you would get many encouraging comments over this time. We want you to keep blogging and we will comment on as many of your posts as we can when everyone is back at work!
Keep the blogging up!
Blog ya later,
Dani
