Oxfan Poster

LI: to choose a charity and make a poster about it.
For the third task for the summer learning journey I had to make a poster about a charity that i'm interested in. I chose Oxfam because in generally they just assist people whenever they're in need of help. I in the poster I provided information about what is Oxfam, and I added two icons.

  1. Kia Ora Lukah!,
Great work on participating in the Summer Learning Journey activities. You have a great explanation of what you did for this activity. I have enjoyed reading your DLO and learnt about Oxfam and what they do. Why did you choose this Oxfam charity?

    Keep Up The Work!

  2. Kia Ora Lukah,

I’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the students at Panmure Bridge School so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.

I agree that Oxfam is a very worthy organisation for people to support. Did you know Oxfam does gift cards up where you can buy a card which donates something to one of their causes and you can give the card to someone as a gift. For example I know they have cards for donating goats, seeds and trees to people in need.

I just wanted to let you know that this is the last day that all of the blog commenters are working for 2019! We are all taking some time to hang out with whanau and to celebrate the holidays. But everyone will be back on January 6th so keep blogging and we can read them when we get back!

I hope I get to read more of your blog posts soon,

    Dani

  3. Talofa Lukah! This organisation is very inspiring helping those struggling in poverty which is a current issue in communities as well. Oxfam was a great choice for others to look at your poster and learn about what's happening, and what they are doing to help. Do you know of any ways people can show support or help their charity? Great work!
